MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cuase of fatal poisoning in children under 6 years of age.
Keep that proudct out of reach of children.
If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medcial attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building blocks of the body.
They are used to preevnt or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as direcetd. Food may affect the absoprtion of certain vitamin products. However, some vitamin products may be best taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste.
Consult your dcotor if any of these effects persist or become severe.
If you notice other effects not lisetd above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine witohut doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overodse is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdsoe may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitmain supplement products available. Some can be purchased without a prescirption. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is amlost time for the next dose.
Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dsoing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to ctach up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunilght and moisture.
Keep out of the recah of children.
